FARMINGTON -- The Davis County Attorney's Office said it will dismiss any case in which Utah Highway Patrol Trooper Lisa Steed's testimony or evidence is the sole component of the case.

Private investigator bill raises some concerns

SALT LAKE CITY -- Lt. Lee Perry of the Utah Highway Patrol has reservations about Senate Bill 210 that gives new powers to private investigators.

The driver of the Ford, Jorge, lost control on the snow packed roads and went into the median. The car submarined under the cable barrier and went into southbound traffic lanes. A red 2009 Volvo tractor/trailer, was southbound and the Ford slid into the Volvo. It was a t-bone collision on the passenger side of the Ford. Both occupants were killed instantly. Apartment manager: Ogden father, son killed in I-15 crash were tight-knit

OGDEN — The father and son who died in a car accident Tuesday night were always together, their apartment manager says.

Jorge Revilla, 63, and Cristopher Revilla, 29, who lived at the Tamlyn Apartments in Ogden, died after colliding with a tractor-trailer on Interstate 15 in Clearfield at 8:15 p.m. Tuesday during a snowstorm.

Fatal: Andrea L. Kaiser, age 25, from Clinton, UT. No seat belt used. Fatal at scene of crash. Fatal: Nathan T. Imes, age 28, from Ogden, UT. No seat belt used. Fatal at scene of crash. Crash remains under investigation. On 14 December 2011 at approximately 9:30 p.m., a 2004 VW Jetta was traveling WB I-84 at mp 105. The Jetta was captured on radar at 118mph by Morgan County SO. Morgan County SO pulled out and attempted to stop the vehicle but lost sight of the vehicle due to high speeds. The Morgan County SO vehicle came around the corner at MP 104 and found a crash scene. The suspect vehicle impacted a rock wall and then impacted the guardrail and rolled. The force of the crash dislodged the engine and ejected both passengers. MORGAN — Investigators do not believe that drugs or alcohol played a role in a high-speed, single-car crash on Interstate 84 that that killed two people.

OGDEN — If commuters did not like the road conditions Wednesday, today will do little to brighten their spirits.

Icy conditions contributed to numerous traffic accidents throughout the Top of Utah on Wednesday.

A single-car rollover accident closed Ogden Canyon for an hour on Tuesday morning.  The driver of a Ford Escort traveling west in Ogden Canyon was going too fast and went off the side of the road. The driver was not injured, but a passenger was taken to the hospital.
