Many fishing options await Memorial Day anglers

For many families in Utah, fishing on Memorial Day weekend is a family tradition.

As this year’s weekend nears, Drew Cushing, warm water sport fisheries coordinator for the Division of Wildlife Resources, said there are waters throughout the state that are easy to access and have large numbers of healthy fish.

OGDEN — Some people can bake a cake while others can’t stir the batter.

That’s how George Shafer describes learning how to fly an airplane.

You either can or you can’t and you either love it or you don’t.

Shafer loves it and he can obviously fly because he just got his license to do so.
