OGDEN -- A man was taken to the hospital after being struck by a car in a crosswalk Wednesday afternoon.
Lt. Scott Conley said a 73-year-old man was crossing the street walking north to south near 160 25th St. when a 64-year-old man driving a 2000 Mercury struck him.
"He was traveling about 15 to 20 miles per hour," Conley said. "He was looking for a spot to park and failed to see the pedestrian and struck him."
The victim was taken to McKay-Dee Hospital with left leg and hip pain, Conley said. He said his injuries do not seem life-threatening.
The driver of the Mercury was cited for failure to yield to a pedestrian.
