WENDOVER -- Police say the search for a missing West Wendover girl has been suspended after discovery of what appears to be a shallow grave.
Sgt. David Wiskerchen says authorities made the find Saturday about five miles west of West Wendover in an area where dozens of people were searching for Micaela Costanzo.
He didn't elaborate further on the possible grave but said authorities suspended the search to avoid disturbing the area around the discovery site.
Costanzo was last seen leaving West Wendover Junior/Senior High School about 5:15 p.m. Thursday.
