SALT LAKE CITY — A three-day conference in Salt Lake City will focus on helping professionals who work with people to find affordable housing.
The Housing 101 conference, which will run from May 9 to 11, will provide information for accessing federal, state and local assistance programs.
The programs include public housing, home ownership assistance and rental help.
The conference is designed to educate people beginning in the field and veterans who need refresher courses
Gordon Walker, director of the Utah Division of Housing and Community Development says the conference will help improve the effectiveness of the programs.
The conference will be held at the State Archives Building in downtown Salt Lake City.
