100 soldiers returning to Utah from Iraq

SALT LAKE CITY — About 100 Utah National Guard soldiers are returning home after a year of service in Iraq.

Lt. Col. Hank McIntyre says the soldiers will return Saturday to the Utah Air National Guard Base in Salt Lake City.

McIntyre says the solder are a support company for the 19th Special Forces Group.

McIntyre says the soldiers arrived at Camp Atterbury in Indiana earlier this week and have been undergoing demobilization. They will arrive in Utah on a chartered flight.
