HURRICANE, Utah -- A Sandy woman whose struggles with infertility led her to a platform of education about support systems available to women has been crowned Mrs. Utah United States.
The Spectrum of St. George reports homemaker Tiffany Alleman will represent Utah in the national Mrs. United States pageant in Las Vegas starting July 31.
Alleman topped six other contestants at the state pageant Saturday in Hurricane. She and her husband, Jonathan, have two children.
The pageant, now in its 25th year, began as an effort to promote respect for married women. Over the years, two Utah women have gone on to take the national title.
