The finale of "The Biggest Loser: Couples" season concluded Tuesday night with a Bountiful woman, Denise "Deni" Hill, taking the $100,000 prize for the at-home biggest loser.
The award went to the eliminated contestant who lost the most weight before the finale.
The 59-year-old Hill went from a starting weight of 256 pounds to 131 pounds in five months.
She took the weight-loss competition journey with her daughter, Sarah Nitta, 27, who lives in Las Vegas.
Hill was eliminated on Week 8 to keep Nitta on the show.
Though Nitta was also eliminated two weeks later, she lost a total of 106 pounds, going from a starting weight of 261 pounds to 155 pounds at Tuesday night's weigh-in.
This past season of the weight-loss reality show began in January with six Northern Utah contestants among those participating in the competition. The most heralded name was gold medalist Rulon Gardner, who now lives in Logan, before he withdrew from the show on Week 17.
Justin Pope, also of Logan, went from an initial weight of 365 pounds to 192 pounds at the final weigh-in Tuesday night.
