PROVO -- A Provo woman accused of starting a fire that killed two people and injured a third at an apartment complex will have a preliminary hearing on murder charges.
The Daily Herald of Provo says prosecutors will present evidence against 45-year-old Yvette Kimber on June 30.
Prosecutors say they will call about six witnesses to testify against Kimber, who is charged with two counts of murder and one count of aggravated arson in the March 14 blaze at the Boulders Apartments in Provo. Police say Kimber was attempting suicide when she started the fire.
Karen Murray and Catherine Crane were killed and another woman hospitalized.
A state judge determined earlier this month Kimber is competent to stand trial.
She faces life in prison if found guilty.
