Police investigate road rage incident

SUNSET — Police are investigating a road rage incident that started around 6 p.m. Saturday.

Sunset Police Cpl. Doug Garcia said a green Ford Escort and an as yet unidentified black car began chasing each other near 475 West and 2400 North.

At one point, the two vehicles collided with each other. Garcia said a witness stated shots were fired from the black car, but police so far cannot find any evidence that a shooting occurred.

Officers did find firearms in the green Escort, but did not connect them to the incident.

A number of other Davis County law enforcement agencies responded to the call as well, but Sunset Police will continue to investigate the incident.
