LOGAN -- Utah transportation officials say flooding along the Logan River has cut U.S. 89 to one lane through a portion of Logan Canyon.
The Utah Department of Transportation says the restriction is expected to last until about noon while crews repair highway damage.
Motorists are being regulated by flaggers through the area about 3 miles west of Temple Fork.
UDOT says travelers on the north-and-south highway should expect delays until repairs are complete.
Alternate routes to the Bear Lake area include Interstate 84 to I-80 in Echo Canyon, or U.S. 91 north to Preston, Idaho.
