It’s party time as Perry turns 100

PERRY — The city of Perry turns 100 this week and is throwing itself a party.

Each night, today through Friday, the Heritage Community Theatre and town officials will host an evening of entertainment and honors, including a brief historical sketch about Perry, honors for Perry citizens and a comical melodrama, “The Perilous Plight of Pretty Precocious Petunia of Perry.”

The event begins at 7 p.m. each night at the theater, at 2505 S. U.S. 89. Admission is free.
