Grocer uses bumbling burglar video to make his pastrami a star

REDDING, Calif. -- Priceless is how Kent Pfrimmer describes the publicity he has received since surveillance video of a burglar trying, and failing, to break into his Redding store went viral last month.

Now the video of the bumbling, stumbling thief has been turned into a TV commercial for Pfrimmer’s business, Kent’s Meats and Groceries, and the 18-second clip is in the national news.

Basketball coach fired after video of shocking behavior goes viral

 

 PISCATAWAY, N.J. -- Rutgers fired basketball coach Mike Rice on Wednesday after a videotape aired showing him shoving, grabbing and throwing balls at players in practice and using gay slurs during practice.

RMBC to show 'My Search for Messiah' video on Sunday

BRIGHAM CITY — At 6:45 p.m. Sunday, “My Search for Messiah” will be shown at Rocky Mountain Bible Church, 659 N. Main St. in Brigham City.

It features Dr. Michael Rydelnik, the son of Holocaust survivors, who came to faith in Jesus Christ as the Messiah.

The video series, produced by RBC Ministries, was filmed in Israel.

Video shows suspect eating body parts of victim

MONTREAL -- Video footage from the death and dismembering of a Chinese student seems to show the suspect eating the body, Canadian police said Tuesday. The porn actor suspected in the killing, meanwhile, told authorities in Germany he would not fight extradition to Canada.

Montreal Police Cmdr. Ian Lafreniere said that although police have not been able to conclusively confirm it, they suspect Luka Magnotta did eat parts of the body.

Plain City men trick Venice Beach crowd with sweet 'buried treasure'

 

 

PLAIN CITY — A group of Plain City men is watching a video they made of a Memorial Day weekend practical joke with buried treasure go viral on the Internet.

Johnny Murdock, 24, said the gag itself was fairly simple: Bury a chest filled with gold on a public beach at night, dig it up the next morning and watch the fun.

The gag was that they filled the chest with $100 worth of foil-covered chocolate coins.
