SOUTH OGDEN — Police are looking for a man and woman suspected of using stolen credit cards to go on a one-day, $18,000 spending spree.
Marci Edwards, of the South Ogden Police Department, said the thieves broke into a truck owned by Cameron Williams when it was parked at his home Monday evening. They took two credit cards from his wallet, but left the wallet and cash behind.
The credit cards were used Tuesday to purchase about $18,000 in merchandise, mainly Apple iPads and MacBooks, at several stores in Riverdale and Layton, said Riverdale Detective Joel Pippin.
