W. Haven girl, 7, air-lifted to hospital

WEST HAVEN -- A 7-year-old girl was air-lifted to Primary Children's Medical Center on Monday night after being found unconscious in a bathtub, according to the Weber County Sheriff's Office.

Authorities responded to 4360 S. 3600 West after a 911 call was placed at 9:48 p.m., and they tried to revive the child before she was flown to Primary Children's, Sheriff's Lt. Lonnie Eskelson said.

"It was critical," he said.

Eskelson said the child's parents were home, but no information was immediately available as to how the incident took place or how much water was in the bathtub.
