Otis, Berry help Wildcats outgun North Dakota

GRAND FORKS, N.D. — Weber State has never lost three conference games in a row under seventh-year head coach Randy Rahe.

The Wildcats weren’t about to change that Thursday at the Sioux Center.

Former Wildcat Lillard to make regular-season debut in Utah

Irving, Lillard headline rosters for Rising Stars Challenge

NEW YORK — Kyrie Irving, the MVP of last year's Rising Stars Challenge, will return to the game featuring top rookies and second-year players.

The Cleveland All-Star was one of 18 players chosen Wednesday for the Feb. 15 game in Houston. Charles Barkley and Shaquille O'Neal will again serve as general managers and draft teams during TNT's pregame show Feb. 7.

Rookie stars Damian Lillard of Portland and Anthony Davis of New Orleans, the No. 1 pick in the draft, also were selected.

Post-game altercation fitting end to heated rivalry matchup

There will be little love lost between Montana and Weber State when the Big Sky Conference heavyweights meet again in Ogden on Valentine’s Day.

Tempers flared after an emotional, physical game Saturday as the teams went through the postgame handshake line following the Grizzlies’ 76-74 win over the Wildcats. A verbal altercation ignited an incident of pushing and shoving that had security and coaches from both sides rushing to clear the court.

BOZEMAN, Mont. — Weber State made it out of town before the freezing rain that snarled traffic and airports back home in Utah, but the Wildcats still hit an icy patch in the Big Sky Conference race.
