Jason and Patricia Pettit

Patricia Elizabeth Kerkman and Jason Pettit were united in marriage on Saturday, Aug. 28, at The Wight House Reception Center in Bountiful. The ceremony was performed by Judge David Miller. A reception was held in their honor after the ceremony.

The wedding party included Lanaiah Young as matron of honor and Kathryn Kemp as bridesmaid. Lance Williams performed the duties of best man with Derek Bingham as groomsman. The flower girl was Savannah Brown with Trevor Laurich as ring bearer.

The bride is the daughter of James and Linda Kerkman of Layton, and she works for The Bountiful Hills Eye Center.

Parents of the groom are James and Ruth Pettit of Clinton, and he works as a foreman in construction.

After a honeymoon to Cancun, Mexico, the couple will live in Clinton.
