CLINTON — Even though yoga has become popular in western culture, the ancient practice is still somewhat of a mystery to some, including the classroom of students who gathered at a Clinton community class recently to uncover some of the sport’s mysteries.
Their instructor, Carolina Ferrin, who teaches yoga at a local gym, said most people begin a yoga program because they are interested in fixing an ache or seeking spiritual knowledge. Though good reasons for getting into yoga, they are only a small part of the activity, said Ferrin.
