Wes will turn 80 years old on February 12, 2019. He was born in Pocatello, Idaho. His family moved to the old family farm in West Warren, Utah while he was a young boy. He later purchased that farm at age 19.
Wes graduated from Weber High School. He married his eternal companion Kay Bass, and together they raised 6 children on the farm.
Wes is known by many in the intermountain area as a horse event and rodeo announcer. He has been working in the insurance industry for over 35 years and is presently employed at Heiner's Insurance in Ogden. Wes is an active member of the LDS Church and has served in many callings, including scout master and bishop. His hobbies are hunting, fishing, working on the farm and writing cowboy poetry.
