Happy 80th birthday to Thell E (Ted) Day, who was born on April 16, 1938, in St. Johns, Arizona. He was the youngest son of Simpson and Myrl Rowley Day. When he was four years-old, his family moved to Provo, Utah, where he attended B.Y. High School and graduated in 1956. In 1960, he married Karen Peterson Day and they have five children: Kevin, Sheila, Michael, Rebecca, and Susan. He had one son from a previous marriage, Mark, who passed away at the age of 25.
After many years of working hard and being successful, he retired and is enjoying traveling and seeing the world. He is a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and has held various positions. He has been a temple worker for the past five years. He has always been a fix-it-man, taking care of projects around the house and yard.
He now enjoys spending time with his 19 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. His family will celebrate his birthday with a cruise to Alaska in June.
