The family of Vivien Dean Boyington (Mrs. B) is pleased to announce a celebration honoring her 90th birthday. An open house will be held on Saturday, December 8, 2018, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., at the Mountain Ridge Assisted Living facility, 1885 East Skyline Drive, Ogden, Utah 84403. Family, friends, former colleagues and former students are invited to attend. Light refreshments will be served. No gifts, please.

Vivien was born December 13, 1928, in Ogden, Utah. She is the wife of Delbert Boyington (deceased) and is a mother of eight children, 21 grandchildren, and 40 great-grandchildren. She graduated from Ogden High School, Weber State College, and finished her education at Utah State University. Vivien taught physical education in Weber county schools for 37 years, where she implemented a junior high school girl's sport's program. Her coaching career started with softball and soon volleyball, basketball, and track were added along with being pep-club and cheerleading advisor.

Vivien's hobbies include all sports. She is an avid golfer and is the former president of the Riverside Golf Courses ladies association.

Her most prized possession is her large family. Parties at her home are full of fun, food, and making memories. Her children are Becky (Rich) Freeman, Kathy Kelson, Craig Boyington, Jan (Mike) Reney, Kris (John) Arko, Kent (Teresa) Boyington, Lori (Dennis) Wood, and Kirk Boyington.
