Richard Craig (Ric) Carney

May 18, 1951 ~ November 14, 2018

Ric passed away on November 14, 2018, after an extended illness while living in Ocean Park, Washington.

Ric was born on May 18, 1951, in Ogden, UT. He was raised in Ogden by his loving parents Vince and Mary Carney.

Ric graduated from Bonneville High School.

Ric loved to ski, hunt, and his Dallas Cowboys. He also loved family time with his brother Mike and his sister Patti.

He moved to Ocean Park, Washington where he worked in two canneries.

He met the love of his life Lata Carney and they were married for thirty years. Ric and Lotta loved to sing together and were active members of the Family Worship Center in Ocean Park.

Ric was known for being funny, loving, well liked and kind. Ric is survived by his wife Lata Carney, his mother Mary Jensen, his sister Patti (Chris) Zimmerman of Ogden, his brother Michael Carney (Lake Tahoe), his two nieces, Ashlee (Kody) Rodriguez and Allie (Tyler) Facer, one nephew, Zach (Candace) Zimmerman, and his birth father E. Fay Rippon.

He was preceded in death by his father Vince Carney and stepfather Devon Jensen.

Services were held November 18, 2018, at Family Worship Center in Ocean Park, WA.
