Helen Sherlene Hillan

1950 –­ 2021

Helen Sherlene Hillan passed away November 27, 2021. She was born October 26, 1950 in Ogden, UT to Darrell N. Carbine and Helen Arave Carbine. Sherlene graduated from Roy High School in 1968 and from Airline Career Training in 1970. She married Raymond Hillan on March 27, 1987. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings.

Sherlene worked in security for many years at IRS as a supervisor, Standard Examiner as Chief Security Officer and Ogden Police Reserve Corps, she drove bus for UTA, was an office manager at United Team Mechanical and worked 18 years at Ogden Preparatory Academy as the Food Service Director. She enjoyed crocheting, crafts and gardening.

Sherlene is survived by her husband Ray; daughter Shelby Hillan; step-sons Scott Hillan, Clint Hillan, Brodie Hillan; sister KrisAnn Jones and 3 grandchildren Oaklee, Harlee and Everleigh. She was preceded in death by her parents; aunts and uncles.

Funeral services will be held at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd., Ogden at 2 pm on Saturday, December 4, 2021. Viewings will be held on Friday, December 3 from 6 to 9 pm and Saturday from 1 to 1:45 pm. Interment, Roy City Cemetery.
