Janet Ahrens Hawkins

1941 – 2021

Janet Ahrens Hawkins, 80, returned home to our Father in Heaven on Saturday, December 4, 2021, surrounded by her children and husband. She was born on October 31, 1941, in Logan, Utah, to Rulon and Ila Ahrens and grew up in Mendon and later, Logan.

Janet married Spencer, her high school sweetheart, in the Logan Temple on March 30, 1960. Mom cherished her family and by example taught faith, charity and to appreciate the beautiful things in life.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 11, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at the Creekside Stake Center, 1480 W. Phillips St., Kaysville, Utah. Friends may visit with family Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Rd., Layton, Utah and Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church.

Interment, Logan Cemetery, Logan, Utah beginning at 3:00 p.m.
