Naomi Jean Couch

Nov 12, 2021

1942 – 2021

Naomi Jean Couch passed away November 9, 2021 surrounded by family. She was born April 21, 1942 in Lubbock, Texas to Juanita Lois Dull and Frank M. Null. She graduated in Beaver, Oklahoma from Beaver High School.

Jeanne married Tom Hill in Lubbock, Texas and had two children; later divorced. She then married Ronnie Hibbs and they had two children, he preceded her in death.

Jeanne married the love of her life Charles E. Couch Sr. on December 15, 1972 in Arlington, Texas and they had one child.

Jeanne was a stay-at-home wife and mother. She was an amazing woman who loved her family fiercely! She always went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Jeanne loved dancing. You would even catch her dancing in the kitchen while making dinner. She always made sure we had a beautiful home and good home-cooked meals. Jeanne had a hand in raising quite a few of her Grandkids. She was selfless, kind and caring with a heart full of love.

Her favorite holiday was Halloween, but always went all out for the holidays. Jeanne had a big family, so she started shopping for Christmas in July to make sure everyone always had a special Christmas. She decorated the house with crocheted glittered snowflakes and hung them from the ceiling at Christmas. She also adored snowmen and snow globes, which would bring a sparkle to her eyes. Being around her family was her happiness.

Jeanne is survived by her daughters Heather J. (Robert) Mansfield of North Ogden Utah, Cindy (Jimmy) Lewis of Pleasant View Utah and April Zaku (Dave Rogers) of Litchfield Park Arizona; 25 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Jeanne was preceded in death by her loving husband Charles E. Couch Sr., biological parents Frank Null and Juanita Dull Grubenman; adoptive parents Wilda Alice Smith and Seth Albert Schuster; her 2 sisters Loretta Price and Erma Campbell and two children Brent Lee Hill and Sherri LeJean Hibbs.

The family would like to give special thanks to Barbara Evans for loving our mom like her own and Shaylee and Alisa with Symbii Home Health and Hospice for their care.

A celebration of Jeanne’s life will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, November 18, 2021 at the Washington Heights Baptist Church, 1770 E. 6200 S., Ogden, UT 84405.
