Oct 16, 2021

1933 – 2021

Our loving and faithful mother, Joyce G. Dorigatti, returned home with honor and was reunited with her eternal companion on October 13, 2021 after a valiant battle with cancer.

Joyce was born December 22, 1933 in Mapleton, Idaho to John Robert and Olga Wooley Hull Gregory. She married Darrel August Dorigatti on September 18, 1953 in Franklin, Idaho and their marriage was later sealed in the Logan Temple. They were married 65 years before his passing.

She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served as Relief Society President, Temple ordinance worker, ward and Primary organist, visiting teacher and served a mission with her husband in Brisbane, Australia. A big part of her church service was sharing her musical talents.

We will miss her Christmas chocolates. She also enjoyed quilting, crocheting, sewing and reading. She worked for 28 years in the Ogden School District lunch program.

Joyce is survived by her children Susan (Gordon) Campbell, Karen (David) Anglesey, James (Peggy) Dorigatti, Joan (Jeff) Vanderdoes; her brother Horatio D. Gregory; 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; 3 brothers and 1 sister.

Our family would like to offer special thanks to the staff of Intermountain Hospice, especially Nurse Julie, Sandy and Dr. McEntire.

Funeral services will be held at the Mt. Lewis Stake Center, 1150 N. Monroe Blvd. on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at 11a.m. A viewing will be held on Tuesday at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd. Ogden from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday at the church from 9:40 to 10:40 a.m. Interment, Evergreen Memorial Park.
