Nancy Child Imlay

August 25, 1951 — October 14, 2021

On a beautiful, crisp, October morning, with her devoted husband by her side, our Nancy slipped the confines of her mortal mind and body to soar free at last. She was born in Clinton, Utah to Leo and Edris Child, the last of nine children. Her siblings are Arlene Tronier (Roland), Elsie Child, Duane (Jeanene), Mary Reed (Bob-both deceased), Carl (Vickie), Diane Voigt (Robert), Robert Child (deceased), Colleen Clark (Jim deceased). She had many nieces and nephews. She was married to a strong, stalwart man, Mark Imlay, who loved and cared for her for 49 years. She has two sons Sy (Kelly), Ryan, a daughter Tara Durrant (Jared) and ten grandchildren. Nancy was gorgeous, sensitive, compassionate and thoughtful. She was creative and talented with a flair for interior design. She loved her family, nature and animals. She struggled with physical and mental challenges that in later years blunted her zest for life so this is a sweet release. Nancy’s wish was to have no formal services.
