Stanley McKinnon “Mac” Wilson III

Stanley McKinnon “Mac” Wilson III, 63, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, December 29, 2021. He was born on August 24, 1958 in Ogden, Utah, to Stanley McKinnon, Jr. and Maria Joyce Hopkins Wilson. He graduated from Weber High School Class 1976.

He married Annette Esplin on December 12, 1980 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Later he married Lorena Barney on January 14, 1983 in Ogden, Utah.

He enjoyed scouting, hunting and fishing. He was a master woodwork carpenter and he loved building things with his hands.

Mac is survived by his wife, Lorena Wilson of South Weber; children, Christopher (Tracy) of Lacey, Washington, Brandon (Brittani) of Pleasant View, Jacob (Megan) of Washington Terrace, Dustin (Alaina) of South Weber, and Chandler (Ryan) Williamson of Clearfield; eight grandchildren, and brother, Danny (Arlette) Wilson. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Annette; parents; and sister, Maria Susann Williams.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd. Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.

The family would like to thank the staff at Bonneville Dialysis Center in Ogden for their many years of service and the staff of Auburn Crest Hospice.
