Winston Charles Edward Riney

Winston Charles Edward Riney, passed away January 26, 2022 in Bountiful, Utah. He was born on December 28, 1943 to Quandell and Sylvia Coffman Riney in Festus, Missouri.

He grew up in Crystal City Missouri. Later on he moved to Layton, Utah. He was always the life of the party. Welcoming everybody to his barbeques with his soul music in the back ground. While visiting, all the kids knew where to find the cookie jar. Winston was always prompt and hardworking. He would always arrive wherever he had to be at least a half hour early. Though, there were times he could be quite ornery; he always had a joke ready to charm his way back into your good graces. Winston enjoyed as much of life as he could, finding joy and peace in the simple things of life. He will be missed.

Winston is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, James Patrick Riney and LaVerne M. Riney; seven exuberant cousins that he found joy in babysitting; daughters, Rudy (April) and Stormi; sons-in- law, Andrew Merrell, Jameson Shade, Patrick Carlson; eleven grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; six siblings; Uncle Lester; Aunt Beverly; daughter, Alyssa; and one grandson.

Memorial Services will be held Saturday, January 29, 2022 at Myers Mortuary, 250 North Fairfield Road, Layton, Utah at 12:30 pm. Family and friends may gather prior to services at noon.
