William K “Bill” Taylor, 83, of Riverdale, Utah, passed away on September 27, 2022.

Bill was born on January 30, 1939 to Alford and Adah Taylor in Ogden, Utah. After Bill graduated from Azusa High School in 1958, he went on to study at Citrus Junior College in California where he earned an associate degree in electrical engineering. He was employed at Hill Air Force Base as an electronics technician. Bill was also a volunteer fireman with the Riverdale Fire Department for twenty years, and he was Fireman of the Year for the department in 1986. Bill was also involved in Scouting for 12 years.

On August 6, 1965, Bill married the love of his life Paula Griffiths in the Logan LDS Temple. Bill and Paula went on to have four children: Keith, Kenneth, Danny, and Kathy.

After retiring from Hill Air Force Base in 1998, Bill spent his time restoring vintage vehicles. He loved camping, fishing, boating, snowmobiling and traveling. He was a member of the Great Basin Antique Machinery Club.

Bill leaves behind his loving wife, Paula Taylor; his children: Keith (RoxAnne) Taylor, Kenneth (SherRon) Taylor, Danny (Teri) Taylor, Kathy (Jared) Jenkins; his grandchildren: Shawntel Taylor, Jacob Taylor, Gabel Taylor, Arionna (Colten) Joos, Rachel Jenkins, Alexia Trapier, Josie (Dakota) Jacobs, Nickolas Trapier, Wade Taylor, Seth Taylor, Samuel Jenkins, Brandon Taylor, Breanne Jenkins; and his great-grandson: Titus Joos. Siblings: Patricia (Carl Boyer) Esplin, Scott (Peggy) Taylor, Trudy Taylor, Deborah (Russell) Langford, Marcia (Gary) Marquardt, Michael Taylor, Don Taylor, as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents Alford and Adah Taylor; siblings: Linda Bohman, Clinton Don Grice; parents-in-law: Asael and Pauline Griffiths; sister-in-law: Joanne Griffiths, and brother-in-law: Frank Bohman.

Funeral Services will be held at 11am on Monday, October 3, 2022 at the Riverdale 1st Ward Meeting House (1056 W. 4400 S Riverdale, Utah). A viewing will be held at Leavitt’s Mortuary (836 36th St, Ogden, UT) from 5-7pm on Sunday, October 2, 2022 and from 10-11am on Monday at the church.

The family would like to send a special thanks to all the doctors, nurses, and staff who cared for Bill at Lotus Assisted Living, Mountain View Health Service, and McKay Dee Hospital.
