Linda Ann Heinze

Linda Ann Lowe Heinze passed away March 25, 2023 due to an extended illness at the age of 81.

Linda was the daughter of Raymond and Florence Lowe. She was one of nine children. She was born June 9, 1941, in Ogden, Utah. She was raised in Hooper and Roy, Utah. She lived most of her married life in Sunset before moving to West Point and Syracuse.

She met L. Buck Heinze in the spring of 1957. They were married January 19, 1959, in Ogden Courthouse. They were later sealed in the Ogden Temple.

She enjoyed camping, boating, traveling, playing games with her family and friends, and doing church work.

Linda was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She held many church positions.

She was blessed with two children, Michael and Robert. Robert was killed in an ac and two grandchildren.

Linda spent her career as a librarian at the Weber State College Library. She retired form Weber State in March of 1998, after 30 years of service.

Many thanks go to the hospice caretakers; they cared for her like family, and brought her much comfort in her final days.

She was preceded in death by her son, Robert; her parents; her brother, John; sister, Nancy; brother-in-law, Lynn; and sister-in-law, Kay. She is survived by her husband, Buck; son, Michael (Lisa); brother-in-law, Dick (Iris) Heinze; sister-in-law, Kathy Heinze; brother-in-law, Val Denton; grandchildren, Chris, Brooke, Cameron, Shane, and Wendy (Drew) Housley; 2 great-grandchildren, Keaton and Karter; brothers, Arnold (Pam) Lowe, Rex (Janet) Lowe, Max Lowe, Jerry (Becky) Lowe, Clint (Connie) Lowe; and sister Terri (Dan) Kozerski.

Funeral services will be held 11:00am on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, at Lindquist’s Syracuse Mortuary, 869 South 2000 West, Syracuse, Utah 84075. Friends and relatives may visit the family on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, from 6:00 to 8:00pm and Wednesday morning from 9:30 to 10:30am at the mortuary.

The interment will be held 11:00am on Thursday, March 30, 2023, at the Clearfield City Cemetery, 1050 State Street, Clearfield, Utah 84015.
