Analee Reynolds Morgan

May 13, 2025

Analee Reynolds Morgan, 84, beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandma passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Mother’s Day, May 11, 2025. Born February 17, 1941 in Park City, Utah, she was the third of four children of Aron Wright Reynolds and Emma Priscilla Jones Reynolds.

Analee grew up in Clearfield, Utah and graduated from Davis High School in 1959 where she was involved in the pro schola pep squad. She graduated from Utah State University with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education in 1962. While there, she met Stephen Seely Morgan. They were married September 6, 1963 in the Salt Lake Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Analee taught school in Honeyville, Utah for two years before moving to Kansas City, Missouri where Steve attended dental school. She taught there for one year and then opened a preschool in her home so she could be home with her young sons, Chad and Kyle.

Upon Steve’s graduation, their family moved to Fruit Heights, Utah where they welcomed two more children, Chauntel and Christopher. Their family moved to Farmington in 1982 where they lived for 37 years.

Steve opened his dental practice in Kaysville in 1971, and Analee was his office manager for several years. Together they formed close friendships with many of their patients. She had the opportunity to work alongside each of her children as they all chose careers in the dental profession. She worked tirelessly and loved being involved in the family practice.

Analee loved her Savior, Jesus Christ. Her favorite church calling was teaching Primary. She served with Steve as a host at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building for 17 years. She cherished spending her Friday evenings welcoming visitors from all over the world and teaching them about our Savior.

Some of Analee’s favorite things were shopping, Diet Coke, going to dinner, fine art, antique furniture, arranging beautiful flowers, sunsets, chocolate, and spending time in Lake Powell and Park City. Her beautifully decorated Christmas tree and Sunday family dinners with her signature lime rickeys will be missed. Above all else, Analee loved her family. Her 10 grandchildren were her greatest joy, and she loved supporting them in their various sporting events and activities. Her conversations with them always ended with her saying, “Love you, love you!”

In February 2019, Analee’s life drastically changed when she suffered a severe hemorrhagic stroke that left her confined to a wheelchair for the remainder of her life. As a family, we were blessed to have Analee with us for six more years as she defied all odds. We witnessed her refinement through this trial. Steve lovingly attended daily to her every need with devotion. As Analee was refined through her suffering, so were we. Our family learned patience, perseverance, determination, how to love more fully, and to never give up. Analee truly endured to the end.

We express gratitude to the interim and hospice care Analee received that allowed her to live in her home until she passed away, specifically Makaylynn, Korby, Isabel, and Cary who treated her with dignity and love. Special thanks to Macy and Zack Lowe who cared lovingly for her. Analee shared a special bond with Macy who treated her with compassion, gentleness, and devotion.

Analee is survived by her husband, Stephen, of 61 years; children Kyle (Emily), Chauntel, Christopher (Natalie); grandchildren Kylee, Gage (Olivia), Ike (currently serving in the Washington Kennewick Mission), Drake, Brooks, Britton, Lucy, Charlotte, Mason (Sarah) Wright, Graham Wright; siblings Millie (Dan) Johnson, Ted Reynolds. Preceded in death by her son Chad; parents; in-laws Ina Seely Morgan and Frank Othello Morgan; sister Jean Hodge.
