April 16, 1939 ~ December 13, 2018

After a short illness, Barbara passed away at her residence in Tonopah, Arizona. She was born April 16, 1939, the only child of Velma and Richard Ballard. She lived in San Francisco with her mother for much of her early years and returned to Ogden in her late teens to live with her father and his extended family.

She worked at many jobs including Hill AFB and other local construction firms. She retired after her last employment at Bonneville High School. Barbara was a unique person who enjoyed singing with an SLC choral group. She loved animals and raised a specific breed Ocicats. Her vanity license plate even read, 'OCICAT'. She was an accomplished seamstress sewing for her children and family.

At the time of her death, Barbara was separated from her husband. She was predeceased by a son Scott and is survived by sons Marc and Michael, grandsons Andrew and Connor and a granddaughter Paige.
