Carma Leishman Jensen was born to Melvin Willis and Ruby Archibald Leishman on October 11, 1926, in Wellsville, Utah. Carma passed away on September 13, 2018.

Carma married Ephraim L. "Eph" Jensen on June 7, 1946, and they were later sealed in the Logan Temple. They have five sons and one daughter: Thomas (Sherry) Jensen, Dean (Toni) Jensen, Arnold (Gail) Jensen, Ricky (Brenda) Jensen, Joleen (Ralph) Francis and Kenneth (Melinda) Jensen; 30 grandchildren and 73 great-grandchildren. Carma was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Eph; her son, Ricky and three brothers.

Carma was the oldest of 11 children and raised on a farm in Wellsville. After she married, they lived in Cache Valley for four years and then moved to Ogden, where they have lived since. Carma was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served faithfully in many callings, including relief society, mutual and primary. She loved the gospel and studied it daily and was memorizing scriptures up to her last day. She loved doing everything and in her later years, she crocheted on an almost daily basis making many afghans and hot-pads as gifts for family, friends and ward members. She will be sorely missed.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tues., Sept. 18, 2018, at the Mt. Lewis 4th Ward, 550 E. 900 N., Ogden. Viewings will be held on Mon., Sept. 17, 2018, at Myers Ogden Mortuary from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tues. from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at the church.
