Edna Scofield Stoll 95, passed away Sunday, April 14, 2019 in Brigham City, Utah.
Edna was born September 7, 1923, in Garden City, Utah, to Fontella Pope and Lamont Ernest Scofield.
She loved being raised at Bear Lake swimming in the water and remembering a wonderful life there. Edna attended school and graduated from North Rich High School in May 1941.
Edna worked at Hill Field AFB during WWII, while waiting for Ken who was serving in the Navy for three years.
She met and married Kenneth R. Stoll on September 1, 1945, they then made their home in Brigham City. He passed away on September 18, 1992.
Edna loved her family and friends. She loved being active in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints her entire life, serving in every way she could with her many abilities and talents. Edna loved to sew, crochet, embroidery do ceramics and crossword puzzles. She enjoyed traveling with friends to Europe and Hawaii.
Surviving are her sons: Kenneth Gerald "Jerry" (Laurie) Stoll, Babbit, MN; Johnny LaMont (Ajia) Stoll, Sumner, WA; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Also survived by sister-in-law Elaine (VaNyle) Arbon, Perry, UT; and niece Yvonne and David Forsgren, Honeyville, Utah
Edna was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth R. Stoll and brother Lloyd Scofield.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 18, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Myers Mortuary Chapel, 205 S. 100 E., Brigham City, Utah.
A viewing will be Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m at the Mortuary.
Interment will be in the Brigham City Cemetery.
