Fae Barfuss Weston passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, January 1, 2019, at the age of 94. She was born May 17, 1924, to her parents John Christian Barfuss and Lillian May Currell Barfuss in Tremonton, Utah. Fae grew up working on the family farm. She graduated from Bear River High School and Seminary of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. After graduating, she moved to Ogden, to work at the Army Supply Depot during World War II, where she was a messenger and later a clerk typist.

Fae married Eldon Earl Weston on September 9, 1949, in the Salt Lake Temple. After the birth of their first child, they bought a home in Plain City. After her children were all in school, she worked at Plain City Elementary School as a playground supervisor, and cook for 13 years.

She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, serving in many positions. Fae and Eldon served a mission in Birmingham, Alabama. Later they were called to serve in the Spanish Extraction program.

Fae and Eldon were active in their community. For many years they helped with Plain City Founder's Day, Community Clean-up Days, and 4th of July celebrations, including being the Grand Marshals in 2008.

She loved spending time with her family, and enjoyed tending to her flowers, gardening, canning, cooking, embroidery, crocheting, and making quilts. She enjoyed being of service to others in every way. Fae and Eldon enjoyed going to Yuma, Arizona for the winter months which they did for 16 years. They loved to go camping with their family and friends.
