He was raised in Willard, UT and graduated from Box Elder High School in 1962. After graduation he joined the Navy, during boot camp training he was honorably discharged due to an accident. In 1965, he met the love of his love and eternal companion Lana Mitchell. They were married February 5, 1966, in Ogden, UT. Their marriage was solemnized in the Ogden LDS Temple August 5, 1978. They were happily married for 52 years.
In his earlier years he worked for P.I.E. trucking company, he enjoyed driving truck and often shared stories of places he has seen over the years. After P.I.E. he opened his own business, Bond Collections that he ran with his wife. Larry loved Christmas, he truly was Santa Claus. His office is decorated with Christmas decorations and bears year round. He embraced the true spirit of Christmas and enjoyed giving joy to others. He was very generous & helped anyone in need. We will forever miss our jolly Santa Claus. Larry enjoyed taking Old Rickety (his RV) up to the Uintah Mountains to go camping and fishing or just to take the kids duck hunting to shoot their shotguns. He loved spending time with his family, many memories we will cherish. Larry loved watching the Jazz and was a Chicago Bears fan.
