"You could tell she was a free spirit, a gypsy, just by looking at her. A smile like that doesn't come from a sad soul."
After a remarkable fight with pancreatic cancer, Lisa's soul was set free to be the wild spirit that she is on May 1, 2019. Born September 9, 1963, to Shirley and James Schaad, Lisa came into the world as a power force, living life to its fullest.
She would say that her greatest accomplishment in life was being a mother. She loved her girls fiercely and instilled in them a love for nature, dancing, art, and all the awkward beautiful little things that make this Earth unique.
Lisa was able to spend the later part of her life with a large smile and a fulfilled heart. She became engaged to her friend and soul mate of many years, Chris. He protected her and loved her with everything he has.
Lisa was survived by her mother, her daughters Kelley, Holly, and Samantha, brother Jim, and grandchildren Cheree, Daykota, and Tage. She has now rejoined her father and sister's Brenda and Sonia in Heaven.
We will be having a Celebration of Life on May 18, 2019, at 5:00 p.m. at Lakeside Community Church 305 W 1300 N Clearfield, UT 84017.
