November 29, 1955 ~ January 31, 2019
If you're reading this God only takes the best and has called me home on January 31, 2019. I was born on November 29, 1955 to Moises J. Sanchez and Mary Garcia in Ogden, Utah. On April 20, 1974, I married my best friend and the love of my life, Anna Sepulveda. Together we were blessed with four children.
When I retired from being a welder I moved to La Jara, New Mexico. While living there, I took up the hobby of elk guiding, which was one of the many joys of my life. I loved hunting, fishing and camping with my family. In my spare time I liked to go horseback riding, shed hunting, and one of the most important things was taking my grandkids out for ice cream.
While you are enjoying the great outdoors and the beauty that God has created for us think of me because that's where I will be. Cry for only a little while because I am now gone, but be happy that I am there with you. Unfortunately, I lost my battle to cancer.
I am survived by my wife of 45 years Anna Sanchez, my children: Mario (Jeanene) Sanchez, Melissa (George) Medina, Tonya (William Maestas) Sanchez, Marcus (Tiffany) Sanchez and 16 wonderful grandchildren. I am now reunited with my Mother, Father, Brother Tom (Taco) Sanchez and my Father-in-law, Rafael Sepulveda.
