July 22, 1942 ~ April 24, 2019
Robert Eugene Lytle, 76, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family Wednesday, April 24th, 2019 at his home.
He was born July 22, 1942, in Aliquippa, PA to Joseph R. and Etta V. Lytle. He was raised by his grandmother, Pearl Helms.
He graduated from Aliquippa High School in 1961.
He served in the Army during the Vietnam War. He was a Supply Sgt. He served from 1964 to 1970.
He then met the love of his life, Carol Jean Halladay. They were married February 8th, 1965 in Virginia Beach. They had four children together.
He then started working for Williams International as a Senior Production Control Coordinator and followed his career to South Weber, Utah with his family in 1978. Where he worked until he retired after 35 years.
He loved spending time with all of his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He also enjoyed building things and woodworking. He loved to go camping with family and traveling with his wife Carol to Montana. He was such a wonderful caring man who loved his family so much.
He is survived by four Children, Martha Cravens (Charles) Clearfield; Pam Church (Dwain) West Haven; Robert Lytle (Victoria) Georgetown, KY; Carol Ellis (Jeff) Adger, AL. He also had one stepdaughter Debra Rooker Clearfield. He is also survived by several grandchildren and many great-grandchildren, one sister Susan Louis Lambert, and one brother, Kenneth Allen Lambert.
He is proceeded in death by his wife Carol, his parents, grandparents, and a sister, Lynnette Joyce Lambert and one granddaughter.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at Lindquist's Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South, Roy. The family will meet with friends Tuesday, April 30th from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.
