Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, grandpa great, brother, uncle and friend, Ronald L. "Ronnie" Hadley, peacefully returned to his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, February 20, 2018, surrounded by his family.

He was born on October 9, 1928, in Ogden, Utah, at home, to Leonard Hadley and Julia Mae Moore. Ronnie was fortunate to have a bonus mother, A May Wilson Hadley, whom he loved very much. He grew up in Ogden, Utah, except for a few years in his youth he lived in Seattle, Washington. He attended Ogden City Schools and graduated from Bonneville High School. He served in the United States Army, serving in Korea. He received the Korean Service Medal with three bronze service stars and the United Nations Service Medal. He was honorably discharged as a Sergeant T. He married the love of his life, Diana L. Hadley, October 16, 1954, in Elko, Nevada. They were later sealed for time and all eternity on June 14, 1956, in the Salt Lake Temple. They were married for 63 wonderful years.

Ronnie was a baker by trade. He worked for the Washington Bakery alongside his father, where he had many great friends. He was known for his artistic talents with decorating cakes. In 1965, he started teaching baking at the Clearfield Job Corps. He truly loved teaching his craft. He received many awards at food fairs with his students. He also enjoyed participating in the real men can cook also with his students. Ronnie retired from Clearfield Job Corps, August 5, 1994, but he continued working on call and as a consultant for many years.

Ronnie was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in several callings. Dad enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting, bowling, traveling, being an extra in movies, volunteering at the Olympics and helping at professional golf tournaments. His greatest love was spending time with his family.

Ronnie is survived by his wife, Diana; daughter, Valerie (Wayne) Aldrich; sons, Brett L. Hadley and Bart Kevin (Kristen) Hadley; brother, L. Brent (Alena) Hadley; sisters, Connie (Al) Warden, Vickie (Don) Smith, Carol (Brent) Wilson and Shelli Weinberger. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Ruth Reed; and brother, Rodney Hadley.

Grandpa Ronnie loved his grandchildren: Brock (McCall), Kiley (Targhee), Annakai, Mikah and Sophia; and great- grandchildren: Irie, Oxford, Presque, Ada, Harkov and Darco. Ronnie had a great love for his Lindsay family.

Special thanks to Dr. Glen Biddulph and all those at Pineview Transitional Rehab that loved and cared for Dad.
