Utah is home to a rich diversity of birds of prey. Giant California condors soar over Zion National Park with more than a 10-foot wingspan while 3-ounce American kestrels hunt in the fields of Box Elder County. The Ogden Nature Center gives visitors the opportunity to see up close some of the birds that call Utah home. All of the falcons, owls and eagles at the center are unreleasable due to injuries or past human interactions.
