Is your dad a big fan of classic cars? Then take him to one of the many car shows happening in Northern Utah this Father's Day weekend.
The Sierra RV Corp is hosting its third annual car show from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at 1010 S. 1700 West in Marriott-Slatterville. A free barbecue lunch will be provided from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Zeppe's Italian Ice will be on site selling tasty treats.
In Clearfield, there will be a car show from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday in the parking lot of Kent's Market at 580 State St. All vehicles are welcome and there's free entry for participants.
Beginning at noon Saturday, The Yes Hell at 2430 Grant Ave. in downtown Ogden is hosting the Junction City Chopper Show. Entertainment will be provided by the Green River Blues-Band, Barlow, Sabbra and Gutterbrains. Food will be provided by Wimpy and Fritz. There is a $10 cover.
Finally, if you want to head up to Logan to round out a car-filled day, there will be a trash car race at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Cache County Fairgrounds, 490 S. 500 West. Tickets are $12 for adults and $7 for children between 3-11.
