Pop superstar Ariana Grande is coming to Salt Lake City.

The singer/songwriter/actress has announced the first leg of The Sweetener World Tour, and it will include a stop at Vivint Smart Home Arena on April 22. Tickets go on sale Monday, Nov. 5, at Ticketmaster.com, and in the arena box office the next day.

The first 40-plus-concert leg of the Sweetener Tour starts March 18 in Albany, New York, and finishes up June 18 in New York City.

Known for her powerful vocals and impressive vocal range, the 25-year-old Grande has already produced three platinum-selling albums and recorded 18 billion streams. She has eight Top 10 Billboard hits, and has been nominated for four Grammy Awards.

Grande began her career in 2008 in the Broadway musical "13," before playing the role of Cat Valentine in the Nickelodeon television series "Victorious," and the spinoff "Sam & Cat." Her musical career began in 2011 with the soundtrack "Music from 'Victorious'"; she made her full-length album debut in 2013 with "Yours Truly."

Grande's singles have included "The Way," "Problem" and "Bang Bang." Her most recent single, "No Tears Left to Cry," comes from her fourth studio album, "Sweetener." The album was released in August.

Grande creates a genre-bending pop sound that mixes R&B, soul and electronic music.
