To have faith is to have wings. How did a little orphan Peter become Peter Pan? Experience the story before the legend in this wildly theatrical adventure of marauding pirates and unlikely heroes. Based on the best-selling novels by Dave Barry, “Peter and the Starcatcher” is a story for all ages, but especially those who do not wish to grow up.

'JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT'
Peery’s Egyptian Theater, 2415 Washington Blvd., Ogden
The Biblical saga of Joseph and his coat of many colors comes to vibrant life in this delightful musical parable. Set to an engaging cornucopia of musical styles, from country western and calypso to bubble gum pop and rock ‘n’ roll, this Old Testament tale emerges both timely and timeless.
Patriarch Jacob lived happily with his dozen sons, but his favoritism for bright Joseph, symbolized by the gift of a spectacular multicolored coat, makes his brothers so jealous they end up selling him as a slave and staging his death. He rises in the service of wealthy Potiphar, though his adulterous wife is falsely accused and incarcerated. His gift of dream telling, however, wins him Pharoah’s favor, in charge of planning for the seven years of penury after seven good ones he prophesied. When his brothers come to beg for food, it’s time for reckoning and nobility.

Dorothy Gale, a young girl living on a Kansas farm with her Aunt Em and Uncle Henry, dreams of escaping her mundane life. The family’s mean neighbor, Miss Gulch, threatens to impound Dorothy’s cherished dog, Toto, so Dorothy and Toto run away. They meet up with kindly Professor Marvel, who subtly convinces Dorothy to return home. Suddenly a cyclone hits, and Dorothy and Toto, seeking shelter in the house, are transported to the Land of Oz.

When you’re trying to climb the corporate ladder, things can be a bit tough, but when you are a woman working for a “sexist, egotistical, lying, hypocritical bigot,” it’s even worse. Three co-workers — Judy, Violet and Doralee — despise their boss and think up all sorts of ways of doing him in, but when an innocent mistake turns deadly, things take a turn for the wacky and wild. A laugh-a-minute comedy from the 1980s hit movie starring Dolly Parton about three heroines taking on “the man” and stepping into the shoes they were always meant to fill.

He announces that a young woman has committed suicide and he has tied her demise back to the family. The night continues to reveal chilling revelations of each family member, which could prove the undoing of the family’s good name.
