Fans cheer for cyclists as they climb up Tanners Flat in Little Cottonwood Canyon during the Ultimate Challenge ride before pro cyclists make their way up the mountain in Stage 6: Weber Valley to Snowbird Resort of the Tour of Utah on Saturday, Aug. 5, 2017. The Ultimate Challenge ride allows cyclists to challenge themselves by riding the same 61-mile, 7,700 ft. elevation gain ride as the pros. As the cyclists fight their way up the last few kilometers to Snowbird Resort fans encourage riders to take offerings such as beer, soda, cookies, pretzels and a variety of other food items. Along with offering food, fans spray cyclist with water and push them uphill for further support.
