Snowbasin BBBBQ

Snowbasin's Blues, Brews & BBQ concert series returns June 9 at the resort above Huntsville.

Brunches aren't as popular on Father's Day as they are for Mother's Day, but there's still a couple places you can take dad for a special experience this weekend.

On Saturday, wet your whistle at the 5th Annual WeeBeer Festival from 3-9 p.m. at the Golden Spike Event Center in Ogden. The fest features 45 local craft brews, plus food trucks, yard games and more. A corn hole tournament will also be held this year.

Tickets are $12 and include three beer tickets and one 4 oz sample glass. Additional tickets can be purchased for $2 each.

Those who don't want to drink can get in free.

On Sunday, Powder Mountain is hosting a Father's Day Brunch at the Arbor Lodge, 3923 N. Wolf Creek Drive in Eden. The brunch will be served from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., with tickets $20 for adults and $12 for kids. Call 801-436-7898 for more information.

On the other side of the Ogden Valley, Snowbasin Resort is holding its second weekend of its Brews, Blues & BBQ free summer concert series. Relax with dad in the mountains for the afternoon and listen to bands like the Troubadour 77, Groovement, and Dead Winter Carpenters.
