The summer solstice occurs at 10:24 p.m. Tuesday, June 20. Here’s a list of Northern Utah events happening in connection with the first day of summer:

Join the Satya community for a summer solstice celebration of the earth's incredible beauty and the power and abundance of the sun. The celebration begins with a “Heart Warriors” meditation followed by service with music, readings and Rev. Ali’s message, “The Noble Path of the Sun.”

10 a.m. - 1 p.m. Sunday, June 18, Satya Center Sunday Services, 2261 Adams Ave., Ogden. FREE.

The Front Climbing Club and The YogaLoft present the first annual summer solstice yoga. Join in celebrating the longest, sunniest day of the year with 108 sun salutations. This practice is light and accessible for all.

Join Stephanie from The Lotus Wellness Spot in bringing in the new fire season of summer with a spicy Vinyasa flow. Bring a yoga mat, water and an open heart.

As the longest day of the year, summer solstice is a powerful day to celebrate the light of conscious awareness within ourselves, to step into our own brightness and stand tall in our whole truth. Join Lin Steffey for a practice of movement, breath and incredible live music to celebrate the fullness of the light. Donation based class with all donations going to the musicians.

Celebrate the summer solstice with Sound Baths for the Soul, a group sound meditation that uses the tones and vibrations of crystal singing bowls, metal singing bowls, chimes and drums. Participants can experience peace, calmness and a deep state of relaxation as the healing frequencies move through their physical and energetic bodies naturally assisting in the release of stress, tension and holistic healing.
