This past week I was out at Farmington Bay Waterfowl Management Area for an assignment. Just a short distance from Farmington Station, a conglomerate of retail stores and restaurants, live countless bird species. I made a second visit to spend a little more time observing and photographing the birds for this week's Sunday page. Next time you find yourself eating lunch at Farmington Station, make the short drive over to Farmington Bay.

Each week, the photojournalists at the Standard-Examiner take a deeper look at one corner of life in northern Utah for their Wasatch Reflections series. You can find these features every Sunday in the paper and online.
