Crowds of cyclists took to the streets in downtown Ogden on Friday evening dressed in their finest evening gowns and suit coats.

And shorts.

And torn-up shirts.

And a dinosaur costume.

The eclectically formal gathering was the second Bike Homecoming put on by the Ogden Bicycle Collective and Ogden City Arts.

Around 150 riders in outfits that ranged from fancy to funny kicked off the evening with a 3-mile bike ride that slowly looped around downtown and the surrounding neighborhoods. Later in the evening, the party moved to the Ogden Amphitheater for a “formal” dance. The annual celebration is a fundraiser for the Bicycle Collective, a non-profit community bike shop in Central Ogden.
